In F16, I use GNOME Shell most of the time, but I do have Cinnamon installed from the fedora-cinnamon repo. Would I still need to use that repo for Fedora 16? Also, will Cinnamon from that repo receive any more updates?

My fedorapeople repo will receive no more updates, any new updates will come from the official fedora repositories.

Is there an easy way to switch over which repo a package comes from or will we have to uninstall and re-install from the official repo?

You delete the cinnamon repo file in /etc/yum.repos.d/ , that's all that is needed.

Does disabling the repo (enabled=0) achieve the same result as deleting the repo file?
