few minutes after posting here, the site launched the new version with cinnamon translation, but it it is giving error in the installation, I'll leave the translation available until the official is working

thats what i was doing ... but it doesnt seem to download just takes you to the next page, then that green link takes you back to the first page...?

Hi, late to the part.........

I tried this but it didn't work. It gives me the option for Cinnamon at the GDM but boots into LXDE. Do I need to install the Fedora 16 Gnome version first?

I believe so. Cinnamon is an add on for gnomes-hell (aka gnome-shell) so you'll need to install the gnome desktop.

One problem I have seen is display corruption. It only happens with Gnome3 and doesn't matter whether Gnome Shell or Cinnamon. I play supertuxcart, and what happens is the window goes blank (white), and nothing is displayed in that area. The menus still work, but since most of the dialogs come up in the middle of the screen (the white window), nothing can be done. The music for the game plays just fine. The only way out is a ctrl-alt-backspace to abort the X server.

Another (possibly related) problem is that the user switch function goes dead - A password window is present, but does nothing. Again the only way out is ctrl-alt-backspace.

I haven't seen either problem under LXDE. Still investigating...

I'm using ASUS EeePC 1015B with 1024x600px screen resolution, and i had some problem here.

first, the menu is overheight. so when i place the panel at the bottom of my screen, the search bar doesnt show. its just "cropped", i try to edit the css, but i couldnt find which part i must edit to fix this issue?

2nd, alt+tab is not working for switching the opened window
