F16 install error "libsndfile..." missing or corrupt

i have downloaded and attempted to install "Fedora-16-x86-DVD" several times but encounter the following error each time:

"libsndfile-1.0.25-1fc16.x86_64.rpm missing or corrupted"

the error gives two options: retry or eject

i am downloading F16 to a Dell Latitude D820 i686 Platform; Intel Core2 T7200 Processor running 2.00GHz; CPU's = 2

Re: F16 install error "libsndfile..." missing or corrupt

Verify the SHA256 checksum of the downloaded DVD image. If the checksum doesn't match, find a nearby rsync server and use rsync to "fix" the damaged download.
