Many are already covered in other posts, but nice to see the proposed list published.

Re: F17 Features List - why not try rekonq??

Thanks alot for posting this . . .

my 2¢ . . . and a bit more specific input from me would be to get the Fedora
developers to try rekong as the default web browser for the Fedora 17 -Beefy Miracle (uggh) KDE flavor . . .

rekonq has been the Kubuntu default since Ubuntu 11.04,
and imho it should be time (well,
next spring 2012) to see Fedora KDE step up to the plate
with the rekonq WebKit KDE browser, eh ?

http://rekonq.kde.org/
"Rekonq is a web browser for KDE based on WebKit. It first focuses on being a light, fast & clean way to access to net.
Its development is doubly based on using the new amazing features offered by the WebKit rendering engine and on
the rock solid network KDE technologies."

Anyhoo, keep up the great work at the Fedora development teams . . . you guys rock !

Thanks again for the update.

Re: F17 Features List

Y'know, the thought strikes me that the name is going to get interesting results when people google things like Can't use beefy miracle.

Though from what I saw on the testing list today, btrfs may not make it as the default filesystem yet.

bob

its been posted in the thread i made ages ago http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=272260 but from what i understand, BTRFS may or may not make it as a F17 Feature due to the filesystem check http://lists.fedoraproject.org/piper...er/104854.html and http://lists.fedoraproject.org/piper...er/104857.html

Re: F17 Features List

jenaniston: the best people to talk to about that would be the Fedora KDE team, who you can find on Freenode IRC in #fedora-kde or on the 'kde' mailing list - https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/kde .
