Question rsync ftp.tu-chemnitz.de

sir
i wish to rsync with ftp.tu-chemnitz.de for fedora 14 i386 .
corresponding url is http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/...thing/i386/os/
i understood that module is fedora-linux-releases . But cannot use the rsync command without error

please sugges rsync statement for above url

can you post the error msg and the command you are running? you can use different names if you dont want to use the real server name...
note rsync by default uses port 873 , you have to use the "--port=21" option to use the ftp port

The source server needs to be setup for rsync connection. You could always try the wget command to copy the path http://ftp.tu-chemnitz.de/pub/linux/...thing/i386/os/

Here is a list of some available fedora repo rsync servers #note the rsync:// as opposed to http://
