Veetle .sh file installation

Hi!

So, i have a problem. I want to install Veetle on my computer. I downloaded the .sh file, but don't know how to install it. Could anyone please help me?

Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day!

Re: Veetle .sh file installation

From what I see, it looks as if you just run

sh veetle-0.9.17-linux-install.sh

A quick glance through the script indicates that you shouldn't do it as root or with sudo.

If it fails, hopefully, there will be useful error messages.

Re: Veetle .sh file installation

To install veetle, it is preferable to download first veetle.tgz on http://veetle.com/download.php/veetle-0.9.17.tgz , then you extract it . And then read the file named INSTALL and follow. I 've followed the install instruction and now, veetle work properly in my fedora 16 (verne). Contact me for any question.
