    Dual screen Fedora 16 on intel D525MW

    Hi all,

    I just installed Fedora 16 (LXDE) on an intel D525MW board. During the installation (anaconda) I got the screens in "dual monitor" mode. As far as I can see there is only one monitor connection (vga). I solved that problem with the "resolution=1280x1024" option. It happens in both 32bit and 64bit installations.

    After installation I get both the login screen and desktop in dual screen modus, which is very irritating. I can't see one half of the desktop. Is the any way to undo that?

    Thanks,

    Renarios

    Allright, that's quite a good option, but I'm a Redhat fan. Since I don't need X, I changed the default runlevel to init 3. Not really a solution for this issue, but it's OK.

    Cheers and a merry Christmas!

    Sorry, I couldn't find a solution. I installed without X. I hoped that in F17 the bug was fixed.
    Maybe you can report a bug?

    Hi.
    I found solution.
    Just add to kernel boot line next code
    'video=LVDS-1:d

    Is it possible to add a second monitor in the kernel boot line so that when it starts it will display on 2 monitors?
    I ask this because my laptop's display is dying and until I get a replacement screen I could use my desktop's monitor.
