I have F-16 (x86-64), wine 1.3.29 and SketchUp 8 and am having problems getting them working. I think wine is installed OK as notepad works fine. Starting SketchUp from within wine, with the icon in the applications menu or from the residing directory (as user) in terminal, I get an error message.
It says Windows has encountered a serious problem... but doesn't elaborate.
From terminal I get the following;
Code:
$ wine SketchUp
err:winediag:X11DRV_WineGL_InitOpenglInfo Direct rendering is disabled, most likely your OpenGL drivers haven't been installed correctly
fixme:actctx:parse_depend_manifests Could not find dependent assembly L"Microsoft.VC80.MFCLOC" (8.0.50608.0)

I followed wine and sketchup's instructions. I have gone over the steps several times and just can't see where I am making mistakes.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.
Dave.
