Fedora 16 86_64 Weirdness

Hello all, Fedora, good job on this one! Fast, and stable as Fedora has always been. I am running Compiz with Nivida drivers, (finally see that "Nvidia" Splash again!) and there just a few anomalies.

I use "Slide Show" for my screensaver. Sometimes it just hangs between photos, and it takes awhile to get back into X.

This may be Firefox related. I noticed that sometimes when I right click on a weblink, the pattern duplicates and shudders down to the right bottom of the screen. A simple click always clears this up, but it is annoying.

I do love the speed of Firefox 8, even running Tor it moves right along.

One last thing, I cannot seem to be able to get EFI Boot Manager of Boot Config GUI to work, they say they cannot find grub config. Any ideas?

Thee have been a number of reports of problems with nvidia. Do you need it? Nouveau is much better than it was in previous versions.

Yes, actually, I do need Nvidia. Without it, the screen flashes so much I cannot do much of anything. Is there any workaround to the buggy drivers?
Thanks for the fast reply.

until nouveau supports four screens, it is just a (nice) toy.

mtk: nouveau should handle multiple outputs fine in most cases. if it can't handle your config, file a bug.

Fixed that, used another screensaver that works. Now I have another little problem. I can see thumbnails of my photos, but not my videos.
