Hello guys!
I'm having some strange touchpad problems on my lenovo x201 for a couple of months now. Previously everything was perfectly fine!
Problem:
No matter what I use: ubuntu 10.04-11.04 or fedora 15-16:
1. none of 3 right buttons work (touchpad, trackpad, usb mouse);
2. get random event problems (system does not react to left clicks);
3. in gnome 3 i can activate "activities" ONLY when no app window is open. If i, let say, open nautilus or Chrome this is it - i can not activate "activities" until i close the program.
4. it's a common problem for installed and live versions. Seems to affect gnome 2 and 3 and unity.
Current solution:
disable touchpad in bios. everything works fine.
Question:
anyone knows what may be the problem? i have absolutely NO idea where and what to look for, but i really would like to get my touchpad functionality back!
