making boot floppy

Hello,

Is there a way to make a boot floppy for core 1 if I only have the ISO's? I have not burned them to CD because the pc doesn' have one and I was going to use the boot floppy and do the hard drive install option.

Been a while since I looked at FC1, but I think you need the 1.4MB images here. You may only need the first two unless your doing a network install or need access to a pcmcia device.

The same files listed in the link above should be found on your first CD under images.

Do a dd if=bootdisk.img of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 from Linux or use the rawrite.exe in the dosutils directory under Windows to make your diskettes.

Have you tried 'mkbootdisk' ? I cant remember it that's on FC1 tho
