How to start NetworkManager

I'm trying to use NetworkManager but something is wrong. I start the service at the beginning and run NetworkManagerInfo as my user. The icon appears at the notification area but when I click it just shows two lines but no text.

The other thing is that I don't know if I need to turn off any service when you start using this (network?)

I was hoping someone would reply to this thread as I have read the web page of the developer, scoured the web, and looked at usr/share/doc/NetworkManager/README. I still see no obvious way to even get the icon shown on the home page of the developer, let alone enter WEP keys and modify preferred network lists. I have the programs installed and the service is running. I click "add to panel", but none of the options resembles what I'm supposed to get.

Does anyone know of tutorial information on NetworkManager in FC3?

I' ve been wondering the same thing. There's a description of it. README files. I type in NetworkManager and I get stuff I don't know what to do with.

Does anyone out there have a clue?

I get:
[root@d600 ~]# chkconfig --list NetworkManager
NetworkManager 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off

all "off"s
and NetworkManagerInfo doesn't seem to do anything.

Any ideas?
