removing old and updating new kernel can't boot on X

Howdy, i removed the old kernels with "package-cleanup --oldkernels --count 1"
and it removed something related also to nvidia, then i updated to latest FC16 kernel with no issues until reboot..
Can't go on X with the "failed to load nvidia kernel module"
If i boot with old kernel it works, newest one doesn't!

I had a "speed" problem on old resolved with (thanks to admin) yum install *\nvidia\* --enablerepo=rpmfusion-*-rawhide, using kmod and X64
Any clues?
Thanks in advance

You likely need to install the nvidia drivers for the new kernel.

thanks,
but i see only 3,1.0.7 (which work with the old kernel) and not 3.1.1 kernels for nvidia!
