I have just installed Adobe Reader 9. The application as such is working fine. The ISSUE here is with its PLUGIN for Mozilla Firefox - the plugin is MISSING. I am use Fedora 16_amd64.
When I open a PDF link it is downloaded and opened in the Adobe Reader application and NOT in the Firefox-Browser as a TAB.
The output for
$ls -lha `locate nppdf.so` is as follows:
Code:
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 176K Oct 5 16:39 /opt/Adobe/Reader9/Browser/intellinux/nppdf.so
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root root 176K Nov 12 22:46 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/nppdf.so
-rwxr-xr-x. 1 root xxxxxx 137K Nov 14 08:04 /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins-wrapped/nswrapper_32_32.nppdf.so
So
the acroread plugin, nppdf.so is installed but it is neither installed in the Browser nor is it working.
How do I go about solving this and get nppdf.so working in my Firefox.
Thanks.
