MS Wireless Mouse 1000 issue

Since my mouse died, i bought this mouse and works quite well except for the wheel, which for some odd reason, scrolls way too fast, i've read about it in other posts, without any solution. The problem seems to be the mouse sending 5 events each time i scroll. This happens when you scroll up and down. The mouse works well at windows(yeah i use windows for gaming), but i need to work on Fedora, and the mouse is really giving a lot of trouble. Any help is greatly appreciated.
System: FC 15 GNOME 3
Thank you for your time.

Confirming using xev, multiple events for 1 scroll press and release.
The next is repeated 5 times. And for some reason, repluggind after booting "fixes" the problem.
