Window List in side panel flips

I have fc15 running in forced fallback mode.
The Window List is located in a left side panel.

Problem:
When I have more then 8 buttons in the window list the list flips over to two columns and when I hoover with my mouse over these window list buttons they jumps back en forth from 1 to two columns very fast which makes it unusable.

Is there a workaround?
