Question FC1 on an HP XE4000-100

I'm expecting to have a virus-ridden HP Omnibook XE4000-100 dumped in my lap when its owner brings it back from Uni next month.

Since there's no critical data on it I intend simply pushing the FC1 CD into the drive and loading FC1 instead.

Does anyone have any experience of FC1 on one of these?

Use FC 1 and FC2 on my notebook

It's OK for FC 1. FC 2 still needs to improve on the power management function.
