unable to install hp plugin

Hi all!

Unfortunately i have massive problems installing the proprietary HP plugin to get my printer (HP1020, supported by the plugin) to work.

the plugin script runs through without any errors but at the end the hp-setup gui opens to configure my printer. Instead of adding my printer it tries to install the plugin again.
i also tried to disable selinux but the plugin doesn't install probably :/

Code:
The printer you are trying to setup requires a binary driver plug-in and it failed to install.
Please check your internet connection and try again.
Visit http://hplipopensource.com for more infomation
am i doing something wrong? any ideas?
best regards!!!
