password:

yum remove libdvdcss*
which should remove both, then do a

yum install libdvdcss

managed to remove it but when trying to yum install libdvdcss I get this now ?


yum install libdvdcss
Loaded plugins: langpacks, presto, refresh-packagekit
Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: rpmfusion-free. Please verify its path and try again

do you actually want the repo installed or just disabled?

if you want to uninstall the repo remove the ATrpms-release rpm

if you want it Disabled Permantely do this

Activities > Applications > ADD/Remove > System > Software Sources > Software Sources Tab then untick the ATrpms repo

I just did this one
Activities > Applications > ADD/Remove > System > Software Sources > Software Sources Tab then untick the ATrpms repo

so what is next mate ?

yum install libdvdcss again
and it is installing so fingers crossed it will work

if you want an .avi to play, why didnt you say that in your first post?

i think there is a library called libquicktime in rpmfusion install that or its just quicktime
