F15 - Add / remove programs blank (and am online)

Ive read a lot of similar issues from people who are not online, but i still get this even when i am...anything i can check ?

hmmm....also when i try software updates, i get an error message saying could not get updates and then Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)

think i may have broken something somewhere....

Hello markkeny. I'm going to assume you're working with a fresh install of Fedora 15. Therefore, I think you should open a terminal and type

su -c 'yum clean all'
yum check-update 


Then try both applications again.
