Window manager "Metacity" has not registered a configuration tool

After upgrading from FC2 to FC3 a couple of days ago, I switched from KDE to Gnome yesterday. Gnome 2.8 looks really good and I like the default setup way better than the one of KDE. I have a problem though: gnome-window-properties won't start. It just gives me an error saying:

Window manager "Metacity" has not registered a configuration tool.

Anyone have any idea how I can get Metacity to register its configuration tool? (What is Metacity's configuration tool anyway? Or are there more than one?)

No one have an idea? I´m still stuck with this issue after 2 months.

I mailed with Havoc from Red Hat and it turns out I was missing /usr/share/gnome/wm-properties/metacity.desktop. I didn't even have a wm-properties dir there. That .desktop file is part of the metacity package, so I reinstalled that and now it's there (again?). I did the reinstall over ssh, so I can't check if the gui works now, but I guess it does.
