Bbfuller asked me to make a new topic for this (i was kinda hijacking someone elses topic i think, for witch i am sorry)
Problem:
My netbook finds the wireless network and when i try to connect it keeps asking for the password.
I changed all the securitysettings from the wireless (wep, wpa,...) but never was i able to connect with the fedora wireless. (with windows it worked fine, but i dont want windows anymore)
Bbfuller asked the lspci output and the lsusb output so here it is:
Code:
[koen@Koen-NET ~]$ lspci

I don't want to give the impression I'm looking at your wireless problem because I want to encourage anyone else to do that. I don't have any experience with that particular card.
However, I notice you are in Europe too and in Europe we get to use channels 12 and 13 for our wireless.
A lot of the rest of the world doesn't and sometimes the Linux wireless drivers don't work with them. Might be something to check.
Does the wireless work with no encryption whatever?

When i take the security of the wireless it works without a problem.
But we have bandwidth to consider here so taking of the security of the connection is like saying goodbye to the bandwidth (unfortunately Belgium still runs behind the rest of Europe and we have download limits here )
