Optimized for wine

Ok so I know certain video cards are better for use under wine than others. Is there a list of some sort? I know that Nvidia ones work the best correct? I have a Zotac GTS 450 in my computer and i'm wondering as far as gaming goes how it would hold up in wine.

Nvidia cards are the most problematic, though you can get them to run, but usually without 3D.
I have an old Nvidia card, and only get standard video on Fedora.

Its possible newer cards are better supported.

What is this based on? Nvidia is by far the best supported card under linux, period.

That's what I've been told/read in my research. I have a ATI card on my laptop and personally it's acted horrible.

What card have you got? I have a HD3650 on my lappy and it works fine on F15 OOTB.

On my laptop I have a Raedon Mobility HD or something like that. It's pretty poor to be frank. On my desktop I have a Zotac GTS 450.
