why Microsoft would do this is beyond me? thats assuming its true. we all know how many times Sony has been hacked

I don't think MS would do this. Think about it. MS has the 360 and Sony the PS3. Why would they combine? Nintendo isn't that big of a threat.

why do you think if Microsoft and Sony join forces together? im sure the both could come up with some excellent Game console. better than the xbox and PS

There are 86 million wii's out there, 55 million xbox, 50 million ps.
Nintendo not a threat? Nintendo's done a great job of trouncing both its competitors and has a FAR bigger "piece of the pie" than either other does.
