BTRFS May Not be default in F16?

going by what Josef has said Here it looks like it will be put off til F17?

If they don't have a working fsck, then there really isn't an option. Can't put it in as the default without a fsck.

I have used btrfs a little on a test system here, but I wouldn't install it on an everyday use machine without some type of file system check.

well im glad it wont be default, i was a bit wary of using a unstable filesystem and there isnt much wrong with ext4

I can hardly wait for fsck and some other improvements... Too bad if it won't make F16, but what can one do. It takes time.

i could be wrong, it may still come default, i dunno untill Rahul or AdamW knowws more whether it'll become default or not, so far they havent taken the feature out of the listed features planned for F16 so perhaps it will still become default
