Install fails on old Dell Inspiron

I have 2 Dell Inspirons 2200, I've installed F14 on in the past. Both laptops fail to initialize, I've verified media, and I'm able to boot the DVD on another system.

The install fails at:

That's strange. Fedora 15 should run on those laptops without problems. Now the installer for Fedora 15 requires more memory than the Fedora 14 installer did (A little over 700mb, I believe) so if you are running less than that, then it could be your problem.

Yes I only have 500Mb installed

You say the Fedora installer, so I might need to use a different Distro, or continue using F14.

Someone posted a workaround on here for the memory issue on the F15 install...

Look at this thread here.. At post # 4. Sonoran posted a workaround to get the F15 installer to work on less memory.

Edit:

My guess is that you would have to boot into the LiveCD.. Edit the file, then choose the Install to hard drive option before doing a reboot.
