make Error 1

I am trying to compile OLSRd on Fedora 15 but 'make' throws Error 1. Here is the output:

Enable -Wformat plus format checks not included in -Wformat. Currently equivalent to -Wformat -Wformat-nonliteral -Wformat-security -Wformat-y2k.

Notice the = rather than - sign?

I located the

WARNINGS += -Wformat-2

in Makefile.inc and I commented it and it worked..
do you know what does this warning exactly is for? I mean, by commenting this line, would I get any problems with the installed program?

i don't know exactly, but these are switches used in making packages. These commands are maybe specific to some platform. As long as you are able to use, just proceed
