KDE NetworkManager does not see APs until iwlist wlan0 scanning is run

I've noticed a weird thing, on my Fedora 15 install on Sony Vaio SZ730 (see smolt info in signature of the same name) and fully updated to today 6/30, the KDE plasma networkmanager will not see any access points until I manually open a terminal and run:
Quote:
iwlist wlan0 scanning
Then it sees them all fine and immediately connects to the one I have it set up to go to.

I think NM is forgetting to do a scan of the APs and my manually doing it with iwlist is kickstarting something

Note this is with the new kde-plasma-networkmanagement-0.9-0.53.20110616git.nm09.fc15.x86_64
from yum
