Ripping Audio CD's into ALAC? ...with Sound Juicer or alternative?

I'm wondering if it's possible to use Sound Juicer to rip CD audio into ALAC (Apple Lossless)?

I noticed you can edit/add profiles but I wouldn't begin to know how to do this...

Much thanks!

Don't think so as ALAC encoding is closed source - might have to rip to FLAC and then convert to m4a with faac or to ALAC with something under wine

ALAC is no longer closed source. It is now Open Source.
