Fedora 15 : Improve battery

Does anybody have tips or tricks to improve the battery of the laptop? Anything will be appreciated.

Howdy,

Make sure it works properly, then turn off the log daemons so that the HDD can spin down.

If u meant extending the life time of the laptop battery, as far as I know, there is no way of doing it. Lot of work arounds are there in google, but nothing worked in my case!.

Hi.

You may try powertop. Install it with yum and run as root.

Well, I have tried Powertop, it seems that there aren't other ways to improve battery, still it is goo.d
