Mounting Samba Shares permission denied

I setup a Samba share and I cannot connect. I can mount in on local host but when I CD to the folder I mounted the share on I get access denied when I run ls.

cat /etc/samba/smb.conf
[W$]
path = /Files/
valid users = admin
public = yes
writable = yes
#create mask = 0765
force user=admin

ll -d /Files/
drwxrwxrwx. 1 admin admin 4096 May 30 20:09 /Files/

ls /mnt/tmp
ls: reading directory /mnt/tmp: Permission denied

How do I fix this?

Re: Mounting Samba Shares permission denied

For one, don't use W$ for a share name. In windows that will restrict access to administrator users (I think).

Re: Mounting Samba Shares permission denied

I think it restricts administrative shares to admins only if Windows is the one hosting the share, the name shouldn't matter in Linux as long as I have the permissions set.

I think I tried using a different name, I even changed it to try to share my home directory instead of /Files (My data partition is mounted at /Files and my data partitions in Windows are mapped to W:\) and I still got a permissions problem. I should have permissions on my home directory so I don't know why it doesn't share

EDIT: This was most likely SE Linux
