*Fair Warning!*
Ok, folks. I've been pretty mellow about it up to now, but today that stops.
A community member took an un-needed hit yesterday because of this crud, and nobody can say they haven't been advised, nudged, requested and warned to cool it.
1) No more Gnumb-Gnuts Evangelism in another guy's thread. If he doesn't like Gnome 3, or anything else, Mikey doesn't like it. Period. Unless he asks specifically for help, or otherwise indicates he wants your comments supporting the opposite, walk away from it and leave it alone.
2) The b*tchfest about Gnome 3 needs to grind to a stop. Soon. Very soon. Unless you're looking for a solution, or have suggestions to improve the product, your thread belongs in the Rants and Raves section. Or, better yet, refrain from posting here -- until you've made some constructive efforts over at the Gnome site on their comments or mailing list.
A caveat here. A carrot always works far better for attracting Gnome Code Bunnies -- than a stick. Offer to help. Offer constructive suggestions. Get ugly about it, and they'll summarily ignore you. Just like we will here under those same circumstances. Except here ... it's three strikes and you're out!
3) If you've received a message in a thread, directing you to this link, two important messages have been sent.
a) We're sick of it.
b) Further argument will probably not go real well. Okey dokey. Mandatory warning posted.
Have a Gnice Gday. <.. ..>

BTW, Dan has been seen as the Staff Voice in some threads, but you all should know that he's not alone in his statement. The Staff is done with the Gnome3 glorification and demonizing. It's a DE in a distro, nothing more. Let's concentrate on the issues, not the emotions. Nuff said!
