problem with Gnome3 and dimensions and minimize

Many times windows are allowed to be larger than my screen. For an instance, right-clicking a file in nautilus will only extend in one direction upward or downward. I have also had windows span that spanned farther below than my screen goes. These are important issues. I have been running Fedora 15 since Beta. I had figured that these would be fixed. Am I the only one having these issues?

Also, Alt-F9 does not work to minimize a window. Upon right-clicking a Window's Menu's bar then I may click minimize, but the Key combination isn't listed there as an option either. I keep reading everywhere that that was supposed to be a feature in Gnome3. Can somebody confirm this or deny this?

Re: problem with Gnome3 and dimensions and minimize

Try the installing the gnome-tweak-tool as mentioned in the following blog.

Why would the developers remove the Alt-F9 key stroke? That is inane! Was there a discussion about that?

Re: problem Gnome3 windows and menus too big for screen

I am now using Fedora 17 x86_64 and Gnome 3.4.2. I have a Dell Studio 1555 with a 15.4 screen of dimensions 1366 x 768, 16:9. Many fixed sized windows, windows with widgets of fixed size, and right click menus will be larger than the screen. Is there a solution to this? It is very inconvenient.
