Wireless LAN card

Hi,

My apologies if this is not the right place for my issue..

I have this old (5 yrs) Toshiba laptop model no. Equium L10-273 with Windows XP on it. I am not sure whether I can use a wireless LAN card to access wireless internet. There seems to be a slot on the left hand side of the laptop. But I never bothered to check what is was for. Please help. Thanks

My laptop does not have a wireless support it is 5 years old, thanks

The "slot" on the side of the laptop is most likely for a
"pcmcia" wireless adapter card. I usually see them on
"clearance racks" at the outlet stores here.

Ya, I agree with you. It could be pcmcia type slot. Since it is 5 yr+ old, difficult to find compatible hardware, thanks a lot
