Gnome-ppp DNS issue

Hello,

I am using my Verizon Wireless broadband card to connect to the internet VIA Gnome-ppp.

It connects and the log shows my IP address and DNS servers but DNS will not resolve names to IP addresses. I can ping IP address on the internet but cannot resolve names

Here is the Gnome-ppp log:

--> Ignoring malformed input line: ";Do NOT edit this file by hand!"
--> WvDial: Internet dialer version 1.61
--> Cannot get information for serial port.
--> Initializing modem.
--> Sending: ATZ
ATZ
OK
--> Sending: ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
ATQ0 V1 E1 S0=0 &C1 &D2 +FCLASS=0
OK
--> Modem initialized.
--> Sending: ATM0L0DT#777
--> Waiting for carrier.
ATM0L0DT#777
CONNECT
--> Carrier detected. Waiting for prompt.
--> Don't know what to do! Starting pppd and hoping for the best.
--> Starting pppd at Wed Apr 27 05:40:21 2011
--> Pid of pppd: 3040
--> Using interface ppp0
--> local IP address 75.207.195.87
--> remote IP address 66.174.176.64
--> primary DNS address 66.174.71.33
--> secondary DNS address 66.174.95.44

As you can see it gets and IP address and DNS Addresses.

If I use VPNC to connect to my office LAN I can resolve names again because I am using my office DNS servers.

That's just kind of a pain to always have to VPN back to work just to brows the web.

Any ideas?
