Slow WiFi Speed (Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN)

I hope this is the right board.

I've a Dell XPS m1530 notebook with a wireless network card called Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN. In Windows 7, the card is working fine and the network connection is pretty fast. However, in Fedora 14, the connection is extremely slow (like using old ISDN - although it's DSL).

Is it the actual connection speed or page loading in Firefox? Try testing it at speedtest.net to see if it's close to what you're paying for. If so, and you think it is the browser, then you can try disabling IPv6 in Firefox.

The same in my case. Wired is as fast as on Windows but wireless is like using an old ISDN connection.

Re: Slow WiFi Speed (Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN)

I've the same problem here with a Dell XPS M1330. In Fedora 15 Beta wired network works like a charm but wireless is really slow.

My wireless card:
0c:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN [Kedron] Network Connection (rev 61)

I've fixed the issue following instructions at: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Common...s#intel_80211n
