HTTP:// treated differently than http://

I'm on Fedora 14 (Laughlin) on the Rackspace Cloud.

The machine is treating HTTP://url.com differently than http://url.com

This doesn't happen on CentOS. Why is a capitalized HTTP prefix being treated differently than a lower case http prefix?

Re: HTTP:// treated differently than http://

Actually, it's probably a problem with cURL. This is in a program we're writing.

What is the way to fix?

Rackspace is a couple miles from my house. What is included in your cloud computing service and how much are you paying?

Re: HTTP:// treated differently than http://

Gotta be something else again because I can curl HTTP://AnyWEBSiTeIlIKE.coM. curl HTTP://WwW.GOoGlE.CA included. Your scripting or curl on windows. I don't know?

Nevermind, I figured it out. It was our script. cURL was innocent.
