What Webmail do You use?

Please read before posting...

Original Question:

Curious what webmail package you use. I use Squirrelmail but I'm thinking of changing. What luck (good or bad) have you had?

Updated Query:

I'm curious what program you have on your Fedora box that allows you to host webmail accounts to users on your system. Sorry for the confusion.

Smiles!

squirrelmail it's one of the most flexible webmail, i'm using it, and my wife using ilohamail because of strong japanese encoding support.

Also i use Novell Groupwise Web Access.

Used to use Neomail, but it no longer works with Firefox 0.10, problems with the session cookies (they never worked well anyway - and NEVER fill up your /var partition when using Neo!)

Now use Horde IMP.

SquirrelMail is a bit dull.

Thunderbird - no contest. Excellent spam filter plus a lot of features & multi-addresses. http://www.mozilla.org/

Don't get me wrong, Thunderbird is great, but it isn't webmail .

As far as other webmail goes, I like Gmail.

How difficult was Horde to get up and running on FC2?... and which IMAP are you using?

I've looked into ilohamail and it looks kinda simple, but the multi lingual support looks great.

While at another forum I was offered a Gmail account. I jumped at the offer and haven't looked back. Gmail is great! I still have my old Yahoo account but I've made Gmail my main email box.

I'm using Gmail with 1000 mb web storage, and I like the new approach of showing mail in conversations. If you are interested in an acount please send me a PM, I got some invitations left.

I personally prefer squirrelmail. Even though I maintain and have the option for people to use openwebmail if they choose. I have not gotten around to testing out ilohamail, but it looks nice from what I hear and see.

Horde IMP is pretty good. Back in 2000 or so, it was the basis for our webmail at zkey.com. Although, we did customize it pretty heavily. I'm sure it's probably gotten even better in the last several years.

Squirrelmail is amazing. You get to download all sort of plugins that makes it very hard to beat. It's full featured, I love it. You can design your own icons and stuff to make it more personnal. I really don't think there are better free solutions out there.
