50+ SELinux warnings

Installed Beta the other day - would not boot. I ran selenux=permissive in /etc/selinux/config (boots fine now)

I looked in the SELinux troubleshooter to find over 50 errors. I fixed those in green (mainly selinux setting for files in /var/run/whatever. I then set selinux=enforcing in etc/selinux/config and still could not boot - back to permissive.

The SELinux warnings in yellow have some interesting ones - like attempts to remove the name from login.

Re: 50+ SELinux warnings

I think you need newer policies. you may have missed them somehow.

the error is caused by systemd, just grab an update of the polycies and it should be solved.

Re: 50+ SELinux warnings

Hey thanks! Not only did I not have updated selinux-policies, I didn't appear to have any at all. I loaded them via yum, still the problem took place, but then with this mornings updates everything seems to be running fine - thanks again.
YES! just placed SELinux in enforcing and rebooted without a problem - plus the time to reboot is much shorter now (time between log in screen and actually logged in decreased)

Re: 50+ SELinux warnings

I have updated system yesterday and now can't boot anymore. System is hanging on selinux with systemd related problems. I have disabled selinux.

Re: 50+ SELinux warnings

Selinux is the biggest pain in the butt in my experience. I have been disabling it for years apart from a few times to see if it got any better. I have to admit I know nothing about it other than it being a pain. Even disabling it in grub I still get a warning at boot 'failed to load SElinux'
