Re: Simple-scan not updated in F13

Off hand I have no idea, other than it might be a compatibility issue with some dependency ?

Download the correct arch for your installation from a F14 repo, then use
yum localinstall *.rpm

http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/publiclist/Fedora/14/

And see how that goes.

Re: Simple-scan not updated in F13

Ok, I did a preupgrade to F14 with:
Code:
Name : preupgrade
Arch : noarch
Version : 1.1.8
Release : 1.fc14
Size : 672 k
Repo : installed
From repo : anaconda-InstallationRepo-201010211814.i386
Summary : Prepares a system for an upgrade
URL : https://fedorahosted.org/preupgrade/
License : GPLv2+
Description : preupgrade prepares your Fedora system for upgrading to a newer
: version by examining your system, downloading all the files needed
: for the upgrade, and then setting up your system to perform the
            : upgrade after rebooting.
And now I have F14 installed.
Simplescan is now upgraded to latest version.
Code:
Name : simple-scan
Arch : i686
Version : 2.32.0.1
Release : 1.fc14
Size : 651 k
Repo : installed
From repo : anaconda-InstallationRepo-201010211814.i386
Summary : Simple scanning utility
URL : https://launchpad.net/simple-scan
License : GPLv3+
Description : Simple Scan is an easy-to-use application, designed to let users
: connect their scanner and quickly have the image/document in an
            : appropriate format.
Just say that the preupgrade did fine with no hassles, everything went smooth and nice.
I'm really impressed

Fedora rock so much !

Thanks.
