Question Virtualbox - Fedora 15 alpha

is it possible to install virtualbox in fedora 15 alpha
not fedora running inside virtualbox,
i mean installing fedora to hard disk, and then install virtualbox

Haven't tried that, but I'm sure you'll need an update to the guest additions (if you intend to install them). See my post on VB general list.

Re: Virtualbox - Fedora 15 alpha

I haven't played with it, but I was able to install the Fedora14 virtualbox rpm without any problems.
The only thing I recommend, is that if you are going to use dkms, do not use the F15 version as
the autoinstall functionality is utterly broken, at least it is for me. Install the F14 version or use the
actual 2.1.1.2 release from Dell's website if you encounter problems with it.

Re: Virtualbox - Fedora 15 alpha

Downloading and installing the F14 rpm from virtualbox.org worked just dandy for me. dkms worked fine, too.

I'm currently posting from IE8 in a WinXP VM on a F15 host. In seamless mode, even!
