[SOLVED] terminal icon in dashboard vanishes

have a look at the attached screenshot: when adding the gnome-terminal to the favorites it first doesn't look like that. but after a reboot, the icon vanishes and leaves the blank space here. deleting this dashboard entry and readding it will bring back the correct icon...
any ideas?

I'm seeing this for the first time, in my latest re-install. Some icons are now missing from the Applications screen as well.

After running all updates the problem is now resolved for me.

I have already installed all updates. The problem is, that I never know, when it's really solved, because this problem about the vanishing icon does not occur every time I (re)boot, but irregularly.

Well, I will report back as soon as it shows up again.

Hi

The same thing applies to my gnome3 desktop too. The icons for:
- Gnome-terminal
- Mozilla Thunderbird
- Gvim
are all missing from the "Applications" overview, as well as from "Activities" i.e. when they are running. They are even missing from the list when Alt-tabbing.

Oh and I even tried to reinstall gnome-terminal (sudo yum reinstall gnome-terminal) but to no avail, no icon :-/

Anyone has a clue how to fix/troubleshoot that ?
