LSI( AMI) IDE Megaraid card not seen after intstall

I just installed FC3 on a PC that has its two HD's connected to a
AMI IDE Megaraid card. At install the disks were seen as two
individual drives, hdc, and hdg, even thought the card was initailly
configured to RAID1 the two drives.

But thats not the problem I asking about, I reconfigured the card
to NOT RAID the drives, then installed FC3 using software RAID
(md). The formatting via druid worked just fine, and the intsallation
went just fine.

But after rebooting, the system can not see the two drives.

Suggestions on where to look ?

Thanks

-pete

When you boot from the CD in rescue mode, does that see the drives?
