Problems with Ralink RT2500USB in Fedora 14

First of all I just want to say I'm pretty new to Linux so I'd appreciate it if you guys are as understanding as possible.

Now for my problem.. I've been using Fedora 13 for a few months now on my desktop and since ethernet is not a choice I needed to use a wlan adapter. I did a little research and ended up using a Linksys WUSB54G ver. 4 which worked great (plug and play, no ndiswrapper or any other configuration required) on my wireless g network, using WEP protection. About a week ago I started looking for methods of upgrading my system because.. well I just like being somewhat current. Anyway I used a Fedora 14 Install DVD and used the upgrade option and it worked. All my settings (seem) to be exactly the same as my Fedora 13 settings were and the appearance and location of files etc. are all the same. Now, for some odd reason, to me at least, Fedora isn't showing a wlan icon in the upper right hand (by the way I'm using GNOME) corner like it used to and doesn't seem to have configured my wlan device correctly. I ran lsusb and it shows the device ID (13b1:000d) and the name (Linksys WUSB54G v4 802.11g Adapter [Ralink RT2500USB]) I'd just like to get my adapter working again like it did in 13.

If this helps, I have kernel version 2.6.35.6-45.fc14.i686

P.S. I'm only using Safari because I'm on someone elses computer at the moment and can't install Firefox

I have a TP-Link TL-WN321G which I think has the same chipset, I have also just installed F14 64-bit and all the updates. Wireless worked OK. Not much use to you in debugging but proof it can work. However, I don't use NetworkManager

Maybe updating your kernel to the latest 2.6.35.10-74?

@cmsps: You are using 64-bit and he does have 32-bit. But that should not change the behaviour of the wireless networking.
