No: only the first few by new members. I agree that the filters are too strict, and will investigate changes.
Thanks,
V
P.S. Your posts have been approved.
Just to explain a bit. As with all Forums, we get a TON of spammers attempting to post garbage. We have some blocks in effect so that few get through, but those who do will generally post a link. So, for the first few posts, if a new member posts a link, that post has to be approved. Hope that explains a bit. However, as Hlingler mentions, we're constantly re-evaluating our methods.

I've updated the FAQ to add Moderation as a topic. So, now we can use "RTFM" and point to it instead of just being secret squirrels.

Okay, okay, it was just that once and only for 3-4 months. BTW, I added a new top entry pertaining to Fedora. Suggestions? Dump it?

Okay, I killed off a few thousand, shut down the instructions on how to use the Forum for a few months and caused the Northeast Blackouts of 1965 and 2003 by flipping the wrong breaker. Sheesh, anyone can make a mistake.
I haven't made one in damned near a week and a hal..........fff..ff.f.f.f..f.ffffffffffffffff *bleep*

Now that you mention it, Grandpa Keck C. Kohatel and Grandma Lucy Furr did some work with a calendar for 2012. Mayan Gals Gone Wild, I think.

I wonder if you can inform me about the legality of posting some topics about Oracle on fedora
such as how to install Oracle on fedora, Oracle Database Admin., building Oracle APEX application, etc..
Click here for Oracle legal notices.
Best regards,

That would depend on the restrictions of Oracle. If it is legal in their eyes to install their software on Fedora and you are not avoiding payment in some fashion, then the Forum would not have issues. That said, I notice your username and do have some concerns that we'll be seeing an ad campaign for Oracle by constant, multiple threads and posts promoting their use. That's not acceptable.
