New To Fedora - Need Installation Help

Just a quick tip: I've modified your post just a bit to help others understand your question. It's best to call it "Fedora" when making a post, although when talking about a specific version, then "f14" or "f13" or something like that is appropriate. "f" by itself is confusing.

Also, if there's some specific problem with the installation, like "how do I partition my hard drive to save my Windows information?" , then please give some details.

OT, but just a quick thanks to Tom. Can't believe I never saw that LinuxQuestions link, and in the case of newcomers to Linux, not yet used to posting on forums, that's much more relevant than the famous how to ask questions the smart way, which is aimed at a more technically proficient audience.

To the OP, sorry for hijacking your thread--Bob and Tom have already given you hints as to what kind of information we need. It also helps to know what you want to do. Do you want to have a computer that is just running Fedora, or share it with another operating system such as Windows or OS X?

Yup... I'd just hand out links to the catb article but it's a bit dense for Linux neophytes. Plus I just find it preachy.

Barring more information coming to light from the OP, not much more can be said in this thread.
