Any masm/sasm assemblers for Linux?

This semester I'm working with both sasm and masm assembly writing, and have been using MS Visual Studio .NET 2003 to do so. I'm just wondering if there is anything available to do this on Fedora.

A did a [right-click - search web for] on your title and google came back wi no hits but did ask,
"Do you mean masm/tasm assemblers for Linux" I clicked on that and there were a load of hits. You might give that a go...

You deserve a rep point for having the patients to learn assembler.

NASM is the defacto 80x86 assembler for Linux and can be found on the FC install CD's. If you are able to, run not walk away from MASM... you'll be so happy when (like most things Microsoft) it's not telling you what you want.

I would, but I'm working with masm for a class. As for where I'm at right now, I am trying some various masm IDE's under wine, trying to get a feel for each. Hopefully I can move away from Visual Studio soon. I still need to verify that the assemblers work, but in theory they should. Masm is Microsoft's assembler for the pentium architecture, and my machine is running that, so I should be good to go.
