Kmail and Akonadi

Using Fedora 14, XFCE. I configured Kmail as my e-mail client. It works but has a small problem: when it starts the first time after boot up I get a funky error message from the Akonadi server, telling me that Kmail crashed. After that Kmail disappears.

However, after that I can start Kmail any time, it doesn't crash again until the next reboot.

So, obviously there is a service which Kmail doesn't like. Once it's crashed, it's fine. How do I find what this service is and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks.
