cannot connet to my wireless with F14

Hello

I made a new install to F14 but am not able any more to connect to my wireless.

It is configured exactly the same way as it was under F12 previously (WPA2 etc.).

Clicking on the the connection/network icon in the top bar, it shows only the wired network option and this one also only when the cable is connected.

Any experiences with a similar behaviour?

Any feedback is very appreciated.

If it worked it Fedora 12, then it probably will work in Fedora 14 using the same driver, firmware, and utilities. I would start checking all the usual things... Is the driver and firmware installed? Is the driver module being loaded? Are conflicting driver modules being loaded? Is something disabling the wireless adapter such as BIOS, a physical on-off switch, a software switch or hotkey or rfkill? Things like that.

thanks for your reply. what changed (regarding F12) in F14 is under system->administration-> network is not available any more. here you could also apply to the checkboxes active / inactive (as it is still mentioned in the help guide). Maybe you know where the <network configuration> has been moved in F14?

Using Dual boot with windows7, windows had no problem connecting to the wireless (but therefore with the wired...)
