Aero Snap?

Does anybody know of a good way to mimic Windows 7's Aero Snap in Fedora? It's the one thing that I really like about the OS.

I've found this solution using compiz fusion, but I'm not very impressed. It works inconsistently at best and often not at all. http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2009/11/g...nap-in-ubuntu/

KDE's kwin includes a feature that is (I think) very similar. (I haven't used Aero myself; I'm just going by what I've read about it.)

I guess you are probably using Gnome and compiz, but if you want to try it in KDE, you can run System Settings, click Desktop, click Screen Edges, and play with the settings under "Window management".

I figured part of it out. There's a compiz plugin called Grid that makes windows behave like they do in Win 7, but it works with keybindings instead of edge bindings.
Sounds like I need to submit a feature request to the compiz guys.

It is NOT a "win7" feature, it is a COMPIZ feature that MS ripped off.

Unless you have a mouse with side buttons etc.. but mine bust (dam cats plague of my life)
